Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers
Everybody has a well-worn go-to read. For Sparks, it’s an expansive reimagining of the biblical story of Gomer and Hosea. ”I’m going to start reading it again,” she says. ”Fourteenth time’s a charm!”

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, by Seth Grahame-Smith
The recent movie version might not have been a blockbuster, but Sparks tore through this tale of America’s 16th prez as a monster-battling badass. ”Loved reading about Abe but with an added twist.”

The President’s Vampire, by Christopher Farnsworth
Looks like Sparks can’t get enough of novels in which fangs and politics collide. This one centers on the president’s most trusted, bloodsucking bodyguard. ”I’m sensing a trend here,” she says.

Fifty Shades Trilogy, by E L James
Yes, the famously sweet Sparks has been blushing her way through the naughty (and massively successful) S&M romance series. ”I read them all in five days,” she says. ”Couldn’t put them down!”
