Arthur

(PBS) Based on the Arthur book series, written and illustrated by Marc Brown, the animated TV series focuses on Arthur Read, an 8-year-old aardvark who loves to read and use his reading skills and lessons to help he and his friends get out of all sorts of situations – even some very adult ones. Leveraging the value of libraries and knowledge and close personal relationships, episodes of Arthur have also deal with some very challenging childhood issues including cancer, the death of a beloved pet, dyslexia, and more.
