Willie Hantz, 'Big Brother' contestant, arrested for drunk driving
Just a few days after being expelled from the Big Brother house after violently head-butting a fellow contestant, Willie Hantz was arrested at 2:30 a.m. this morning in Louisana. A representative for the Lafayette City Police Department tells EW that officers were initially called to the 300 block on McKinley street — an area that, in the representative’s words, “has several night establishments” — to respond to a disturbance. When officers arrived, there was a large crowd gathered. Hantz — the brother of infamous Survivor villain Russell — was observed driving his vehicle to the rear of the parking lot.
There was no exit at the back of the parking lot; according to the rep, Hantz got out of the car and began to flee on foot. After a short pursuit, officers took him into custody and charged him with OWI (Operating While Intoxicated). As noted by E! Online, Hantz posted a message on his Facebook wall last night: “McKinley street pub cum get sum laf. Let’s get stupid.” Mission accomplished, apparently.
