Judging shake-ups are happening all over!

In addition to all the American Idol news, America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne tweeted yesterday that she too was on the verge of exiting: “My darling @HowardStern, money is not the reason I’m not returning to @nbcagt, it’s because…”

She did not elaborate. (Her next tweet was a retweet of Black Sabbath, “Looking forward to seeing everyone at @Lollapalooza.”)

At a Television Critics Association meeting Tuesday, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said the announcement was unexpected, according to the AP. “This is coming out of context and sort of spontaneously, and we don’t even know what’s going on. And it’s probably much ado about nothing,” Greenblatt said.

The AP also quotes an anonymous source that says Osbourne currently has a multi-year contract. Osbourne has been with America’s Got Talent since the second season in 2007. She also is a co-host on CBS’s The Talk, which returns for a third season in the fall.

EW reached out to reps for Osbourne and America’s Got Talent. As of press time, they did not respond.
