What would a Bourne movie be without a scene of a confused, manipulated assassin flying across roof tops in a foreign country killing bad guys? Not much of one at all, if you ask me. The creators of The Bourne Legacy, the fourth installment of Universal’s movie franchise based on the Robert Ludlum novels, apparently agree.

In the latest footage from the new sidequel — which hits theaters Aug. 10 — Jeremy Renner’s Aaron Cross channels his inner Jason Bourne as he parkours his way across the tops of Manila’s slum shacks in an effort to shake a team of SWAT officers hot on his tail.

Check out the clip below to see Renner in action and also to witness just how he saves Rachel Weisz’s character, who has gotten herself caught in a bit of a pickle.

Hint: it involves Renner disposing of a cop much like this guy treats unsuspecting empty cans of cheap American beer…
