Season 2 of FX’s American Horror Story begins production this week, but it looks like they are still adding folks to the asylum: EW can exclusively reveal that former All My Children star Mark Consuelos (also the husband of daytime’s Kelly Ripa) is joining AHS as a patient named Spivey.

Consuelos joins Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, and Lizzie Brochere in the new season, which centers around an institution for the criminally insane.
