Kristin Chenoweth injured on 'Good Wife' set
- TV Show
Kristin Chenoweth was injured on the set of The Good Wife on Wednesday. “This afternoon, while filming a scene for The Good Wife in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth,” a statement from CBS Television Studios confirms. “She received treatment on the scene by the show’s medic until a New York Fire Department emergency medical team arrived and transported her to the hospital. All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery.”
A fire department spokesman told the Associated Press a woman at that Brooklyn location suffered minor injuries, but he wouldn’t identify her.
UPDATE: On Thursday, Chenoweth’s rep issued a statement saying, “Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”
Chenoweth will have a recurring role on The Good Wife this fall, debuting in the season 4 premiere. She plays a reporter covering Peter Florrick’s campaign with an itch to also dig into his marriage with Alicia.
