With viewers abstaining from watching her new reality show, Bristol Palin has been yanked from primetime. Lifetime is quietly moving Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. starting next week.

The decision comes after two weeks of lousy ratings for Sarah Palin’s daughter. The docu-series debuted to only 726,000 viewers. Tuesday’s second episode fell to 586,000 viewers. Next week more heavily features Bristol’s mom, so that could in theory help boost the numbers. But chances are the show’s downward trend, coupled with the time-slot shift, will keep ratings headed downward.
