First question: Are you having trouble getting Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” out of your head? Second question: Do you find it difficult to forgive George Lucas for most of his creative output in the last 13 years? Then fellow traveler, the new parody video “The Star Wars That I Used To Know” is for you. The lyrics are a litany of oft-overheard argument, accusing Lucas of “an overuse of graphics” and offering some free advice: “Have your friends direct your movies and they’ll make them better.” But by spoofing Gotye’s DIY video, “The Star Wars That I Used To Know” actually achieves a bit of poignance. But, you know, funny poignance. Watch here now:
