Chris Brown and Drake spark a rumble in a Manhattan club

Play nice, boys! At least eight people (including NBA star Tony Parker) were treated for injuries after a violent melee allegedly involving the entourages of Chris Brown, 23, and Drake, 25, erupted at a Manhattan nightclub in the wee hours of June 14. Although the exact cause of the fight remains unclear, the two stars do have a long-standing beef over Drake’s rumored romance with Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The NYPD could not confirm whether the singers were involved in the altercation (both had left the club by the time police arrived on the scene), but Brown later tweeted a photo of a gash on his chin, writing, ”Throwing bottles like girls?” (A rep for the singer, who is still on probation following his 2009 assault on then girlfriend Rihanna, did not respond to requests for comment.) As for Drake, his rep denied reports that the Young Money rapper had launched any glassware in the bar fight, saying in a statement, ”Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind.” The NYPD confirms that, as of press time, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
