'Dark Knight Rises' trailer: Bane vs. 'Mr. Wayne'

The trailers for The Dark Knight Rises have been judicious with plot revelations. We all have the same rough notion that Christopher Nolan’s Bat-threequel is some vague combination of political allegory and stealth Rocky III remake, starring a villain who wears a mask that appears to be leftover from your totally sweet District 9 Halloween costume. But the latest trailer offers a bit of intrigue, with a captured Bruce Wayne mumbling “I’m not afraid… I’m angry” in his best Eric Bana impression. Also, Gotham is apparently being attacked by a roving band of Sandinistas. Watch and ponder:
