'Falling Skies' second season premiere ratings lower, but still strong
The return of TNT’s alien invasion drama Falling Skies couldn’t match last year’s record-setting premiere numbers, yet still performed strong Sunday night.
The two-hour season two premiere delivered 4.5 million viewers. That’s down 24 percent from last year’s series debut, which ranked as basic cable’s top new scripted series. TNT expects the show’s audience will grow to 6 million viewers once DVR is added, for whatever it’s worth. For those who missed it, check out EW.com’s exclusive Falling Skies teaser posters.
