EW’s critic Ken Tucker noted the promise in Longmire‘s first episode, and this week, things really start to heat up.

In the third episode of the series, a barn fire leads to the discovery of a body, but before the case is ruled a suicide, Longmire is led to believe there are darker forces in play. This intense exclusive clip sets up the plot for the episode, which airs this Sunday on A&E. Warning: A barn isn’t the only thing that catches fire in the episode. (R.I.P., horsies.
