Carly Rae Jepsen took the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 Wednesday with "Call Me Maybe," but her chart victory isn't the only treat for fans of the 26-year-old's inescapable single.

Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij has made a mashup of "Call Me Maybe" and Annie Lennox's "Walking on Broken Glass" that he uploaded to his Tumblr account Wednesday "strictly for the lulz":

For those unfamiliar with Lennox's 1992 song, it's easy to see why the mashup, titled "Call Me on Broken Glass," is a match made in pop heaven. Batmanglij takes the best of what Lennox's original had to offer — a twinkling piano line and a powerhouse string arrangement not unlike the one on "Call Me Maybe" — and adds warped keyboards and a thumping dance beat under Jepson's original vocal track.

Lyrically, though, the songs couldn't be more different. Whereas Jepsen finds new love in the spur of the moment, Lennox is deeply down in the dumps: "Since you abandoned me/My whole life has crashed /Won't you pick the pieces up / 'Cause it feels just like I'm walking on broken glass." Yikes. (Oh, and before you run to check out the Lennox video, there are no shirtless lawn-mowing gentlemen in sight — just what looks like a wicked Marie Antoinette costume party.)

We already rounded up our favorite "Call Me Maybe" covers here on EW, but there are plenty of "Call Me Maybe" mashups to be discovered — here's one with Third Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life" and another that mixes in the best of Taylor Swift, Jessie J, and Ke$ha.
