USA’s Necessary Roughness has moved past its rookie season, but that doesn’t mean its star football player has left behind his youthful antics. Last season’s cliffhanger — talk about ending an episode with a literal bang — had some fans worried everything would change for T.K. (Mehcad Brooks), wide receiver for the fictional New York Hawks. The video below should calm any fears that we’ll see any less of the awkward encounters between psychotherapist Dani Santino (Callie Thorne) and T.K., her patient whose trouble-making never fails to shock.

Necessary Roughness’ second season will delve into the drama of football’s off-season, centering on training camp, the draft, and scouting. Thorne’s Dani, meanwhile, will continue to face a brave new world of single motherhood and a sudden career boost as a therapist for high-profile clients.

In a promo released earlier this month, fans got a peek at T.K. alive and well, sharing a hot tub with three women in the second season premiere (airing June 6). Now you can watch that entire scene, where Dani and her maybe-love interest — the Hawks’ athletic trainer, Matt Donnally (Marc Blucas) — check in on T.K. shortly after his brush with death. “He has been through a severe physical and emotional trauma,” Dani warns Matt. “Depression, anger, withdrawal — anything is possible. So I just want you to be prepared.” One thing Matty D and Dr. D weren’t prepared for? An unobstructed view of T.K.’s backside.
