'Celebrity Apprentice': And the fired celebrity is...

Last week, Celebrity Apprentice left us with a good ol’ fashioned cliffhanger. Either Clay Aiken, Arsenio Hall, or Aubrey O’Day was about to be fired — leaving the other two to compete for the Celebrity Apprentice crown. Who was fired? And which two will be playing on for the win? Our answer came just minutes into tonight’s episode. Read on if you want to know who got the ax! [SPOILER ALERT: Continue reading only if you want to know or have already seen who was fired on tonight’s episode.]
After Clay bragged about always being considered the strongest person on his team and his teams winning 70% of the time, and after Donald Trump went on a tangent about how much he hates it when politicians apologize, and after Arsenio promised that “If I got the Donald Trump stamp of approval, I would spend the rest of my life trying to make you proud and let you know that you did the right thing” — after all of that, Trump turned to Aubrey to deliver some bad news. It seems John Rich and Marlee Matlin felt Aubrey was “transparent” and “an inexperienced chess player.” On their advice, Trump fired Aubrey, who blew kisses to Amanda the Boardroom receptionist and informed us that “I’m somebody that stands in your face and is so bright and shines so big that you’re either intimidated, you’re annoyed or you’re in love.” (Which group are you in?)
This means Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall are the final two that will be battling it out for the title, a battle and task which was set to begin right after Aubrey’s firing. My full recap covering their initial work on the project as well as everything else to come on tonight’s episode will be up at 2am. (UPDATE: Click to read Dalton’s full Celebrity Apprentice recap.) But you can sound off right here and right now. Glad Aubrey’s gone? And whom are you rooting for between Clay and Arsenio? Hit the message boards to let us know.
