TNT has greenlit a new medical series from procedural TV veteran David E. Kelley.

The Boston Legal and Harry’s Law writer-producer’s project Monday Mornings has just received a 10-episode order.

Kelley is teaming with CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta on the show, which features a large ensemble cast: Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica), Jennifer Finnigan (Better with You), Bill Irwin (CSI), Keong Sim (Glee), Sarayu Rao (Lions for Lambs), and Emily Swallow (Southland).

Here’s the logline: “Set at the fictional Chelsea General Hospital in Portland, Ore., Monday Mornings follows the lives of doctors as they push the limits of their abilities and confront their personal and professional failings. The title refers to the hospital’s weekly morbidity and mortality conference, when doctors gather with their peers for a confidential review of complications and errors in patient care.”

Hear that? Weekly morbidity and mortality conferences — sexy stuff!
