Each week, host Jeff Probst answers a few questions about the most recent episode of Survivor: One World.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: As all these loved ones showed up and then took part in the reward challenge, all I kept thinking was: How is Probst able to remember all their names, especially while doing play by play? I can barely remember the names of the contestants themselves! Do you quiz yourself relentlessly before they arrive?

JEFF PROBST: Funny observation. I am blessed with a great short term memory so it’s not usually that big of a deal. But long term memory such as eighth grade math…? Forget about it.

You’ve seen a lot of teary loved one reunions at this point. What’s the one that has choked you up the most over the years?

Well, Tarzan and his wife got to me this season. It was so unexpected and so pure. Pure love. I was very moved. But the best is yet to come. Maybe not this season, but soon.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a contestant like Kat, and while she and everyone else kept chalking her immature behavior up to being young, I thought Chelsea made a very astute point that “22 is not that young.” Do you think if you had made every challenge for margaritas she may have fared a bit better?

Kat is certainly colorful and can be very charming, but the truth is we all have our limitations. Kat doesn’t have the vocabulary or life experiences of others her age and it shows. It’s one of the most fascinating aspects of Survivor — watching a true cross section of America reveal themselves with nowhere to hide. Oh, and yes, margaritas would have helped.

Just two episodes left. Tease us up for next week, sir.

Next week, a tribe member emerges from the background to join strategy talks and there’s an unlikely betrayal within an alliance.
