Which 'Seinfeld' actors should guest on 'Veep'?

In HBO’s new comedy Veep, Julia Louis-Dreyfus excels as Selina Meyer, a vice president who’s foul-mouthed and powerless. Tony Hale, a.k.a. Buster Bluth, does great work as her loyal body man, Gary. Anna Chlumsky as Amy, the VPOTUS chief of staff, makes me glad the actress ended her self-imposed acting hiatus.
But the show — which our own Ken Tucker calls fun, if not gut busting — might benefit from a few cameos. Specifically: It’d be great if some of Louis-Dreyfus’s old Seinfeld cast mates took up temporary residence in the Oval Office. Er, the Naval Observatory.
No, I’m not talking about Jerry, George, and Kramer — though if they feel like taking a break from counting their piles of syndication money, any of them could play a congressman. Instead, I’d rather imagine which Seinfeld supporting characters would make convincing Washington power players. Specifically, here’s what I’d like to see:
Wayne Knight (Newman) as the eccentric postmaster general
Jerry’s nemesis was a proud U.S. postman. Imagine what he could do if he were in charge of the whole operation. (“When you control the mail, you control information.”)
Jerry Stiller (Frank Costanza) as a crotchety Supreme Court justice
He’s 84 years old and Supreme Court justices serve for life. He’d have to learn to control that temper, though.
Patrick Warburton (David Puddy) as a stoic Secret Service agent
Louis-Dreyfus’s VP is single. What if she embarked on a romance with a bodyguard played by her old Seinfeld flame?
Phil Morris (Jackie Chiles) as the White House Counsel
He couldn’t get Seinfeld‘s heroes an acquittal in the series finale, but maybe he’d do better as the president’s chief legal advisor.
John O’Hurley (J. Peterman) as a smooth-voiced patrician senator
Maybe he sits on a committee that oversees relations with Southeast Asia. That way, he’d have plenty of opportunities to travel to Burma.
Larry Thomas (The Soup Nazi) as the Iranian ambassador
No diplomacy for you!
Jane Leeves (Marla Penny, a.k.a. The Virgin) as an abstinence-only sex ed activist
