SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t seen the final minutes of tonight’s episode of The Voice, then stop reading! Otherwise you’ll ruin the utterly shocking developments.

I’m still reeling from the holymolywhatjusthappened!? ridiculousness of the final minutes of Monday’s episode, which featured a new rule change that forced the night’s coaches (Christina and Blake) to send one of their artists home immediately after the performances concluded.

Christina picked an utter shocker, former frontrunner Jesse Campbell, while Blake opted to eliminate rocker Jordis Unga, whose gorgeously slow-burning performance tonight made me really think she might stick around for another week. Perhaps most shocking was that each team had at least one noticeably weaker performer, who may face the music tomorrow when America’s votes are revealed.

PopWatchers, what did you think of tonight’s jaw-dropping final moments? Did Christina and Blake make the right choices? Were you completely shocked by the decisions, too!?

My full (and very judgmental) recap, coming soon! (UPDATE: Click to read Marc’s complete Voice instant elimination show recap.)
