Julian Assange's TV show to debut next week
Julian Assange’s upcoming talk show will debut on April 17, Russian network Russia Today (RT) announced this morning. Titled The World of Tomorrow, the 12-episode series will be broadcast online, as well as on RT, according to a statement released by the channel.
The guests on the 26-minute episodes will consist of “politicians, revolutionaries, intellectuals, artists and visionaries,” as well as “iconoclasts, visionaries, and power insiders,” though RT did not reveal the identity of the first guest.
Assange is currently under house arrest as he waits to hear on the UK Supreme Court ruling of his possible extradition to Sweden based on accusations of sexual assault.
Assange recently starred as himself on the 500th episode of The Simpsons that aired in February.
