The First Lady continued her late-night rounds yesterday with a stop at The Colbert Report. On the one-year anniversary of the Joining Forces initiative, Mrs. Obama was in the studio to talk about hiring veterans and helping military families.

But forget the politics, Colbert wanted to get down to the real issues: Who would win in a contest of gravitas between the funnyman and Nickelodeon’s iCarly, whose show featured a FLOTUS cameo in a January episode.

“That’s a tough one,” Obama said. “iCarly is about 16 and she’s real deep.”

And of course, it wouldn’t be a true First Lady talk show appearance if there wasn’t at least the tease of a dance party.

“I should add some random dancing to my show,” Colbert countered, as a way to beat the teen comedy that routinely features outbursts of dance. “We could try,” Obama replied.
