Anderson Cooper laughs about Dyngus Day
The case of the giggles strikes again! On last night’s segment of the RidicuList, Anderson Cooper erupted into laughter as he described Dyngus Day, a Polish- American holiday celebrating the end of Lent. Anderson managed to hold it together as he explained the holiday, but it was referencing one of the Dyngus Day rituals of “boys sprinkling girls that they fancy with water, and the girls striking back with a tap from a pussy willow branch” that sent him over the edge.
When it became clear a bad case of the giggles was encroaching, Anderson fled off camera, saying, “I’m not gonna let you do this,” but then came back to his seat as the giggles escalated. Watch the high-pitched laughter outbreak below:
Cooper is no stranger to cackling on air: The news anchor famously lost it in August when he recounted French actor Gerard Depardieu urinating in the cabin of a plane.
Like Anderson said as he tried to control himself, sometimes you just gotta let it out. What’s funnier here, PopWatchers: Anderson’s outburst or the ludicrous Dyngus Day?
