'Supernatural' changing showrunners (and likely renewed)
Looks like the Winchesters brothers will return.
The CW and Warner Bros. are changing showrunners on Supernatural.
The veteran Friday night drama series is losing current chief writer-producer Sera Gamble. Instead, Jeremy Carver is coming back to take the reins. Carver worked on the show for three previous seasons between 2007 and 2010. He also ran up Syfy’s Being Human, which was recently renewed.
While Supernatural still doesn’t have an official pickup yet for a eighth season, networks don’t change captains on a boat they’ve decided to sink. This is in line with our prediction for the show in EW.com’s Death Watch 2012: Our fall TV survival predictions.
