That strapping sensibility continues with the official Man of Steel logo, which Warner Bros. posted tonight to the movie’s Facebook page. Along with that more robustly sized “S” — usually considered to be the family crest of Superman’s Kryptonian father, Jor-El (Russell Crowe) — there are some finely etched details within the logo that make the emblem feel even more like it’s connected to a long-lost culture. Check it out below:

I’m also digging the subtle yellow hue of the interior of the logo, and the dark, burnished metal quality of the entire image. But what do you make of the new Man of Steel logo?
