Maria Bello is wasting no time hopping back on the TV train following the cancellation of her NBC drama Prime Suspect back in November.
EW has confirmed a Deadline report that the star is set to join Fox’s new Kiefer Sutherland drama series, Touch. She will play a mother whose daughter shares the same gift as the young main character (David Mazouz) in an upcoming multi-episode arc. Sutherland portrays Martin, the father of the young boy who can seemingly predict the future.
If the drama is picked up for a second season, Bello reportedly could become a series regular. Touch aired its second episode yesterday with a decent performance in ratings, with 11.7 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in the key 18-49 demo.
