CBS’ crime-drama block led Tuesday’s night ratings, which saw NBC’s Fashion Star rising from last week’s premiere and Fox’s tentpole comedy New Girl falling to a low.

NCIS (18.6 million, 3.3) was down 6 percent, NCIS: LA (16.1 million, 2.8) was down 10 percent, and Unforgettable (11.3 million, 2.1) rose 11 percent.

NBC was second with Biggest Loser (6.5 million, 2.2) up a 5 percent this week, followed by Fashion Star (4.9 million, 1.8) perking up 13 percent compared to last week’s 90-minute series premiere.

Over on Fox, it’s two-hour comedy block slipped further: Raising Hope (3.7 million, 1.6) was down 11 percent and I Hate My Teenage Daughter (3.0 million, 1.2) was down 14 percent. New Girl (5.1 million, 2.6) fell to a season-low last week, then last night slipped again, down 7 percent.  Breaking In (3 million, 1.3) was down 13 percent.

ABC also struggled: Last Man Standing (7 million, 1.9) was down 14 percent to a season low, though Cougar Town (4.6 million, 1.6) went up 14 percent. The season (and likely series) finale of The River (4 million, 1.4) was up 8 percent.
