Legendary rock bands KISS and Motley Crue — who haven’t shared a stage since 1982 — are uniting to launch The Tour of 2012, a joint spectacle that will hit over 40 cities nationwide starting July 20, according to a Live Nation announcement.

Tickets for the tour, which is being lauded as “the spectacle of spectacles” and “summer’s biggest, baddest rock tour,” will go on sale beginning Friday, March 23 at and But if you’re a fan club member for either band, you can purchase your pre-sale ticket beginning Wednesday, March 21 at 10 am.
