In the week after its March 5 debut, the hilarious online ad for DollarShave — featuring company cofounder Mike Dubin, a machete, and a dancing bear — racked up nearly 3 million hits. Customer reaction to the club — which supplies razors to subscribers for as little as $1 a month, plus shipping — has been ”extremely strong,” says Dubin, who studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade and wrote the ad. So is the easy-on-the-eyes pitchman ready to become a sex symbol à la Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa? ”Yes.”
