'Frozen Planet': Polar Bear time-out -- VIDEO
This Sunday, Discovery debuts the seven-part series Frozen Planet, from the makers of Planet Earth and Life. The cinematography is truly incredible, as is narrator Alec Baldwin talking about polar bear foreplay in the 8 p.m. ET premiere, “The Ends of the Earth.”
In Sunday’s second hour, “Spring” (9 p.m. ET), Baldwin gives the play-by-play of a new mother polar bear venturing out to find her first meal in four months so she can continue to produce milk for her two cubs. The little ones don’t exactly cooperate with her stealth seal-hunting technique. Watch what happens below. Hint: Cute overload.
