Arrested Development star Jason Bateman and wife Amanda Anka, both 43, welcomed a second daughter, Maple Sylvie, Feb. 10 in L.A.
Actress Marcia Gay Harden, 52, has filed for divorce from her husband of 15 years, Thaddaeus Scheel, 47.
The former agency of This Means War star Chris Pine, 31, sued the actor for breach of contract on Feb. 14, claiming that Pine owes more than $180,000 in commissions to the SBD agency, which represented him from 2002 to 2011…. The Eastman Kodak Co. received approval from the U.S. bankruptcy court on Feb. 15 to end its naming deal with the Hollywood theater that hosts the Academy Awards. It is unclear whether the venue will be called the Kodak Theatre during this year’s Oscars ceremony on Feb. 26.
America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, 31 — who was hospitalized for mild kidney failure in January — announced Feb. 17 that he is quitting his radio show, Rollin’ With Nick Cannon, so that his body can ”get the rest that it needs.”… Dame Judi Dench, 77, revealed Feb. 18 that her eyesight is deteriorating due to macular degeneration. ”It’s something that I have learnt to cope with and adapt to,” she said in a statement.
New York Times correspondent Anthony Shadid died Feb. 16 in Syria of an apparent asthma attack. The Middle East expert and two-time Pulitzer winner was 43…. Illustrator John Severin, who helped launch MAD and Cracked magazines, passed away Feb. 12 at age 90.
