Kelly Clarkson’s been on the sunny side of a hot streak lately — her “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” currently sits atop the Billboard Hot 100. b

But it looks like her next one will be crossing back over to a “Dark”-er place.

The “Mr. Know It All” singer talked with Z100 recently to discuss her Super Bowl performance (“I never want to do it again!”), her coping mechanisms (“When I get really nervous, I just want to hurt people”), and what she wants her next single to be.

“I like ‘Dark Side’ because it’s still got a beat to it,” Clarkson said. “It’s a sweet-sounding song but with a dark lyric, and I like that.”
