Look who wants to come to series television! Ryan Phillippe (Cruel Intentions) has joined the cast of the pilot previously known as Golden Boy, which is a CBS drama in development for fall.

The project from Nicholas Wootton and Greg Berlanti (Brothers and Sisters) tracks one cop’s meteoric rise from officer to detective to police commissioner.

Most recently, Phillippe appeared on Damages but is best known for his roles in such flicks as I Know What You Did Last Summer, MacGruber, and White Squall. And let’s not forget the most important entry on his resume: He was Billy Douglas on One Life to Live!
