Russell Brand is doing what most people try to do post-breakup: Keep as busy as humanly possible. The actor-comedian, who announced last month that he and his wife of 14 months, Katy Perry, would be divorcing, has plenty on his agenda. In addition to appearing in the upcoming Rock of Ages, as well as being cast in Diablo Cody’s directorial debut, and hosting his own late-night talk show on FX, Brand is now also attached to star in the Paramount-produced haunted-house movie The Hauntrepreneur.

The film, which will be co-produced by Michael Bay’s company Platinum Dunes, “revolves around a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man who calls himself the Hauntrepreneur to help them. In an attempt to bring them together, the man creates a haunted house filled with an odd cast of characters.” [Variety originally reported the story.]

While Brand is attached to the project, the film does not have a director yet.
