Earlier this week Daniel Radcliffe told EW that, thanks in part to his recent stint on Broadway, he’s as ready as he’ll ever be to take on his first-time Saturday Night Live hosting duties. Well Daniel, we’re ready to watch you. (Well us, and a few of those Harry Potter fans we keep hearing so much about.)

In fact, The Woman in Black star, who has proven time and time again that he is a good sport with a knack for comedy (even his SNL promo managed to pack big laughs into less than two minutes), may be just the most-anticipated host of the season thus far. Will there be Harry Potter sketches? All signs point to yes. (By his admission, the franchise will at the very least “be addressed” during tonight’s new episode.) But it should be just as exciting to watch the actor tackle some new material, and despite some underwhelming episodes (Charles Barkley, Anna Faris), this season has had some of the best in recent memory. (Look out Jimmy Fallon and Melissa McCarthy, Daniel is comin’ for ya!)

Watch his latest promo, in which he kids around with cast member Kenan Thompson and introduces musical guest Lana Del Rey, here:

Will you be tuning in to watch Daniel Radcliffe’s episode of Saturday Night Live tonight, PopWatchers? (That’s a silly question, of course you are!) Feel free to post your thoughts on the show here while it’s happening and then come back Sunday morning for a full recap.
