What do you give to the girl who will grow up having everything? Well, the lifelong gift of reading is a great choice. Aunt Oprah reportedly sent Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter a trunk full of children’s books.

Sure, some kids might be disappointed with books as gifts, but when they come from Oprah, they deserve a special spot in your 2,200-square foot nursery. We can only hope little Blue Ivy Carter will eventually treasure her books even more than the $5,200 Swarovski crystal bathtub from Aunt Kelly Rowland — I guess it’s understandable if she doesn’t — but Oprah no doubt picked some of the best children’s titles. Here are our guesses and hopes for which books Oprah chose for Blue Ivy’s growing library:

Book Club-approved: We can bet several if not all of the children’s books from Oprah’s infant reading list made it into the mystery trunk. Rhymes Around the World by Kay Chorao will come in handy for this future globe trotter. And any kid, hip-hop royalty or not, should experience The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Who Run the World?: No doubt Lady B wants her daughter to grow up with plenty of strong female role models. Some good books for Independent Women in the making: Brave Irene, The Chicken-Chasing Queen of Lamar County, the Maisy series, and if she follows her parents’ career path, Little Diva by LaChanze. When she gets older, she’ll need The Secret Garden and Little Women.

One for the parents: Jay-Z and Beyonce may be superstars, but every new mom and dad has trouble getting the little one to sleep. They could probably set Go the F**k to Sleep by Adam Mansbach to some great music.

What do you think little Blue Ivy will find in Oprah’s trunk of books? What books would you recommend for a baby — famous or not?
