What better way to ring in the New Year than with a sitcom about two dudes dressing up as women to get jobs? Oh, wait, I just thought of about 18 zillion better ways to ring in the New Year! Yet somehow ABC either didn’t realize how awful their new cross-dressing comedy (and I use that word lightly) Work It was, or the network simply didn’t care. Now, it’s up to Kristen Baldwin, Jessica Shaw, and me to get to work on breaking down Work It for the first 2012 edition of the InsideTV Podcast. Just how awful was it? Has it now earned the title of Worst Show Ever? And, if not, what is worse? Plus, how could ABC leave Cougar Town off the air for this?!
We then turn our attention to clearly more highbrow fare by delivering our first impression roses to the new cast of characters on The Bachelor. Whether it was white girl rapping, scary blogger sobbing, or shameless grandma-toting, this group of “ladies” went all out for both Ben and the viewers. We’ll discuss the good, the bad, and, yes, the ugly from this season’s crop.

But first let us know what you think: What’s the worst TV show ever? Where does Work It rank on that list? And which “ladies” do you love and loathe on the new Bachelor? The message boards are open for business!
This romantic reality competition series follows a gaggle of women vying for the Bachelor’s heart — and a wedding proposal. Will you accept this rose?
