It’s easy to harp on Adam Sandler (even more so if you endured Jack and Jill) but you have to give the guy credit for one thing: He never turned any one of his wildly successful comedies into a franchise with umpteen sequels, something he could have easily done considering their impressive box office returns. (Thank your lucky stars for that one, PopWatchers, or else we could have had I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry 2 or Little Nicky 3 by now.)

But now, for the first time in his career, Sandler could be appearing in a sequel. Variety reported Tuesday that a sequel to 2010’s ensemble comedy smash Grown Ups is in the works with the original film’s scribe Fred Wolf in talks, though Sandler “has no deal in place for Grown Ups 2.” (EW also reached out to Sandler’s production company Happy Madison regarding the reported project with Sony Pictures, who had no comment.)

Still, if a Grown Ups sequel does happen, is it the follow-up you’d want to see most from Sandler? (If only to hear this precocious youngster once again boast about getting “chocolate wasted”?) Would you rather Sandler catch up with Happy Gilmore and see how the golfer would do in a post-Tiger Woods scandal world? Perhaps a Billy Madison 2, in which he’s actually teaching the youth of America? (A horror film, no doubt.) Or do you want to see how The Wedding Singer would do among the modern day era of wedding DJs? Take our poll below and vote on which Sandler flick you think is most deserving of the sequel treatment and then tell us why in the comments section below.
