If you missed the first season of After Lately, Chelsea Handler‘s mockumentary series on E!, Handler can catch you up quickly before season 2 starts Nov. 27: ”It’s what goes on behind the scenes with all the idiots” who work on her talk show, Chelsea Lately. ”It’s basically our passive-aggressive way of telling each other who we think is annoying and why.” The season features a batch of A-list guest stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Jane Fonda. Handler, 36, is also busy working on NBC’s sitcom adaptation of her book Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, starring That ’70s Show‘s Laura Prepon, which is set to premiere Jan. 11. ”It’s a totally different landscape that I’m not accustomed to, and it’s multicamera,” Handler says. Since being picked up in May, Are You There, Chelsea? has undergone significant retooling, including dropping three original cast members this summer. Handler, who appears in a supporting role playing her own sister, acknowledges that it’s a work in progress. She jokes, ”We changed out a couple of the guys so that they’re better-looking.”
