The fourth installment of the Ice Age franchise isn’t set to hit theaters until July 13, 2012, but if your animation appetite is getting ravenous, EW has your first look at Scrat’s Continental Crack-Up — Part 2, a short set to premiere on iTunes this Wednesday.

It continues the story from the first Continental Crack-Up, released in January, which serves as the plot-launching catalyst for the feature film Ice Age: Continental Drift, in which Scrat’s continent-splitting shenanigans launch Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary), and Sid (John Leguizamo) on an ocean-spanning adventure.

Readers, are you (or your kiddies) loving these shorts? Is there such thing as too much of our squirrelly buddy Scrat? (Never!) And dear God, is that skeleton squirrel not completely creepy?
