'Homeland': Damian Lewis says Brody is 'up to something'

Showtime’s critically acclaimed thriller Homeland kicked it into high gear last week when CIA officer Carrie (Claire Danes) and former POW (and possible terrorist!) Sgt. Brody (Damian Lewis) found themselves having sex in the backseat of her car.

Strategic on Carrie’s part? There’s no way to tell yet. But tonight may provide some answers as the two find themselves disappearing together for the weekend. Something tells us things will get intense (and we’re not just talking about the inevitable next hook-up).

When Damian Lewis stopped by EW a little more than a week ago, he gave us a preview of what was to come for the complicated pair, and gave us a little hint as to which mysteries may be revealed by the time the season ends. Watch after the jump!
