CMAS on ABC to pay 'tribute' to Kim Kardashian
Who says the soon-to-be-ex of Kris Humpries has no relevance in the world of country music?
EW has learned that tonight’s 45th Annual Country Music Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on ABC, will pay “tribute” to the nation’s most famous divorcee-in-the-making with Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet. The comic actor will not only be on hand to present the night’s first trophy but will participate in a musical diddy about Kardashian and her crushing decision to leave the NBA player. She’s the gift that keeps giving!
Stonestreet will join Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time), St. Louis Cardinal third baseman David Freese,
Kellan Lutz (Twilight), Miss Piggy, Emily VanCamp (Revenge), and Reese Witherspoon as presenters for tonight’s awards show airing live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Performers include Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Taylor Swift, Thompson Square, Keith Urban, Chris Young, and Zac Brown Band.
At press time, it did not appear that Kardashian would join in on the fun.
