NBC renews 'Love in the Wild' for second season
NBC’s jungle-romance summer dating show Love in the Wild is getting a second season.
Love in the Wild pairs up singles in exotic challenges hoping to spark a relationship. The next round of the Endemol-produced show will have some new twists to spice up the drama (the first season was so successful at hooking people up, it lacked urgency at times). “The success of the relationships formed on the first season of this series is a testament to the unique format of this show,” said NBC reality chief Paul Telegdy. “We look forward to an even more compelling season as the series will return with new format twists and a new set of contestants who will conquer the wild — or not — to find love.” The first round averaged 5.5 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the adult demo.
