Describing President Obama as “still the only adult in the room,” Martin Sheen will tell Joy Behar tonight that liberals in Hollywood should hold back on criticizing the President: “Steady, steady,” he warns recent celebrity Obama critics such as Michael Moore and Matt Damon, “you’re talking about a very special man.”

Appearing on Behar’s Headline News show this evening with his son Emilio Estevez to promote their new film The Way, The Sheen Who’s Not Always Winning says, “I adore him and I think he’s done a great job.”

“What about the real problem?” asks Sheen. “What about corporate America sharing some of its profits, investing back in the country?” See this preview clip:

Sheen describes “corporate America” as being “the first ones to come crawling back to save them, demanding to be rescued.”

Sheen, the former West Wing president, is a life-long liberal, a follower of the Catholic reformer Dorothy Day.

The Joy Behar Show airs on the Headline News Network (HLN) at 10 p.m. EST.
