Last week, Alloy Entertainment — the Hollywood company behind hit television series like Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, and Vampire Diaries — launched a new, original web series, Wendy, that is getting some traction in the teen universe. The story is a modern retelling of the classic Peter Pan tale, and EW has an exclusive sneak peek at the series’ third episode, which will air this Thursday, Sept. 22.

Meagan Martin — known for her work in ABC Family’s 10 Things I Hate About You series and Mean Girls 2, as well as Disney’s Camp Rock franchise — stars as the show’s namesake character who must choose between the boy she loves and the boy in her dreams, Pete, who’s played by Pretty Little Liars‘ and Days of Our Lives alum Tyler Blackburn.

The scene — which, like the whole series, was shot at the rumored-to-be-haunted Paramour Mansion in Silver Lake, Calif. — here is one of the first times that Wendy and Pete really speak to each other. In the first two episodes, the pair interact without really talking to each other. “I really enjoyed working on this scenes,” Blackburn told EW. “It is the first time Wendy and Pete really connect, not to mention the set looks like Neverland!”

Wendy‘s first episode debuted last Thursday, and new episodes will premiere on the series’ YouTube channel on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
