Celine Dion's home broken in
A man was arrested after breaking into Celine Dion’s Montreal-area home, according to the Associated Press. Daniel Bedard, 36, jumped a fence and entered Dion’s home with the help of a garage door opener in an unlocked car on Monday. Dion and her family were in Florida at the time. Police responded to the alarm system and arrived to find Bedard making himself at home. “He opened the water faucets, was pouring a nice warmish bath (and) he even managed to eat some pastry that was in the fridge,” said Laval Police spokesperson Franco Di Genova. Bedard was charged with breaking and entering, auto theft, and causing property damage.
