Charlie Sheen isn’t returning to Two and a Half Men, but Courtney Thorne-Smith is. EW has learned that the former Melrose Place and Ally McBeal star is set to reprise her role on the CBS hit during its overhauled ninth season (premiering Sept. 19). Thorne-Smith guest-starred for 10 episodes last fall playing Alan’s (Jon Cryer) girlfriend Lyndsey, and is on board to reappear in his life now that Ashton Kutcher has joined the cast as Walden.
