Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announce third pregnancy, Kate Winslet rescues Richard Branson's 90-year-old mother from fire, and more

Jennifer Garner, 39, and Ben Affleck, 39, are expecting their third child together. The couple, who married in 2005, have two daughters, Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2.

Rod Stewart‘s daughter Kimberly Stewart, 32, gave birth to her daughter with actor Benicio Del Toro, 44, on Aug. 21. They are not currently a couple.

Former Scrubs star Donald Faison, 37, became engaged to longtime girlfriend and Jessica Simpson’s former assistant CaCee Cobb, 33, on Aug. 19…. Actor David Cross, 47, and former House star Amber Tamblyn, 28, are engaged to be married…. After a short separation, motorcycle guru Jesse James, 42, and tattoo artist Kat Von D, 29, are reportedly reengaged.

Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet, 35, along with her boyfriend and children, escaped a house fire at Richard Branson‘s Necker Island home on Aug. 22, helping carry out Branson’s 90-year-old mother in the process.

Lindsay Lohan, 25, has sued rapper Pitbull, and his collaborators Ne-Yo and Afrojack, for the song ”Give Me Everything,” which includes the line ”I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” She claims the lyrics use her name without authorization and are defamatory.

On Aug. 23, a spokesperson for Amy Winehouse announced the results of a toxicology report, which found ”no illegal substances” in the singer’s body at the time of her death last month.

David Letterman, 64, was the target of a threat recently posted on a jihadist website. The post urged the Late Show host’s execution for a joke he made on the death of al-Qaeda leader Ilyas Kashmiri. Letterman, who returned to work on Aug. 22, joked about the situation in his opening monologue and in his ”Top Ten Thoughts That Went Through My Mind After Hearing About the Threat.”
