The first promo for Rosie O’Donnell’s new talk show on OWN was just released, and… it features a lot more talking than showing. “How are you? Good to see you!” greets the 49-year-old comedienne/actress/activist/etc. “I haven’t seen you in, like, a decade. Where you been?” (Well, Rosie, technically we saw you on Sunday on Curb Your Enthusiasm, competing with Larry David for the same woman, but clearly you’re referring to the ending of The Rosie O’Donnell Show in 2002.) After assuring us that she’s not Kathy Bates or Roseanne Barr, the high-decibel Queen of Nice explains that as a mother of teenagers, she needed to get back to work, and her return to TV will involve “a lot of entertainment and comedy.” Check it out below, as her youngest daughter Vivienne kinda-sorta plays along. The Rosie Show debuts Oct. 10.
