Jaime Pressly pleads no contest, avoids jail time for drunken driving
Jaime Pressly was sentenced to three years of informal probation on Thursday after her attorney entered a no contest plea for drunken driving, reports the Associated Press. The 34-year-old actress, who will star in the upcoming Fox sitcom I Hate My Teenage Daughter, was arrested on Jan. 5 in Santa Monica after being stopped for a traffic violation. The police say her blood alcohol content was more than .20, with the legal limit being .08. She will also attend a six-month mandatory alcohol education class, and the Department of Motor Vehicles is requiring that an ignition locking device be installed on her car.
